That book is famous for changing ones mindset from the old fashion perspective of working for money to the idea of making money work for you.

going through the courses and spending the money is brain damage, but if you can afford the time and the association dues (everything about NAR and being a realtor all comes down to paying dues) and you're serious about doing this for yourself and you're smart about it, having access to more information than the general public will give you a competitive edge.However, very few things will ever beat good'ol fashion hustle.

I would just like  some good old fashion feed back on this purposed strategy.  

BUT, since I have a contractor business and a Realtor business and I was adding RE Investing, I was overwhelmed with all of the phone calls received so fast and I wasn't able to get to them all in a timely fashion.

I think it a wonderful set to use if you know how to market in the right fashion. 

I talk to folks on the phone, I'm old fashioned.

They are either extremely old and rundown or they are old fashioned but well maintained.

I'm continually astounded when I learn people I 'randomly' meet also invest in the sector, and I've made a variety of nice connections and learned about myriad models/ideas in this fashion.  

But that when the note reaches maturity, there are issues with getting the final payout.If there are others on this forum that can share their experiences (good or bad) around whether they received their entire investment back in a timely fashion, that would be very helpful.

Remember that this is a people business and we are solving their real estate related needs in an ethical, moral and legal fashion (yes, that last little bit stems from M.Q. but that is how I live too) and you can potentially do well.
