Depending on the level of debris you may have that dumpster filled up or, if it's big enough, get the demo done too - old flooring, cabinets, countertops etc I typically like to get the debris removal and demo done prior to hiring a contractor - to me it's a fairly straight forward activity.

Kind of like putting granite countertops in a low end rental, probably not worth it.

In my area, I've heard of kitchen re-do's for under 10k for cabinets, flooring, and countertops.

We're going with that option and will add granite countertops to spruce everything up!

I acquired some business credit cards but have been denied left and right for home renovation and personal loans.Unit is old (think pink & blue bathroom and 8x7 kitchen with floral countertops).

We would like to update the flooring, paint, kitchen counter tops, and bathrooms; we are not sure how much this would cost yet.

We gutted the kitchen and bathroom, brand new cabinetry, quartz countertops, replaced the washer / dryer, all new appliances, new flooring throughout the entire unit, and fresh coat of primer & paint on everything.

I figure for the flooring, counter tops, cabinetry or anything inside that might need to be replaced after a tenant stays there should be kept as cheap as possible right ?

Initial ideas were to white wash the wood paneling for a farmhouse look, replace hardware for kitchen/bath vanities, new laminate countertops, maybe a backsplash in kitchen?
