On the other side of the fence it could signal to the seller that you (as a buyer) have options.  

And as we all know, they do from time to time.The App is great but too many things can go wrong (no signal, lost the phone, forgot to download the app, don't know how to use the app, kids using codes and phones, Bluetooth what?)
