I live in Bayonne border line Jersey City where it is extremely expensive (and taxes are through the roof).

Tucson was slow into the recovery but right now is doing really well bordering into the slightly overheated. 

The windows are bordered up and sometimes i see construction workers go in and out but not enough to the point where its is going to livable in the next 6 months.

I’m currently working on a deal a state over (I live near border so still just an hour away) do I use a closing attorney in that state for transaction?

My initial hope was to invest in Canada to avoid complicated tax scenarios, but I know members of the BP community have had good success with cross border investing as long as it's structured correctly.I'm looking to work at least 1 more year overseas, but I'd like to start transitioning into investing over the next 12 months if possible to do so from abroad.I'm really excited to enter into this exciting industry, and hopefully work with some of the great real estate minds here on BP!

Should I seek the nicer areas of town to buy single family rentals and keep them above average nice/bordering on really nice....this idea is that I could get better tenants and lowering my pain is of course the goal here.

We also did some white 4 x 4 tile borders when we made the vanity smaller.
