Which kinda led me to believe: THAT was the norm!

This led to our thinking that we could fall into the next best level of value.We had our first open house 3 weeks in and couldn't keep people out of the house!

We don't presently have the loose financing and overbuilding that led to the last downturn.

I've told my family and friends about my new career and this has led to one listing in Fredericksburg so I will continue to market by word-of-mouth.What other things can a new agent do to generate listings or leads?

If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to tell it... every set back and disheartening moment that ultimately led to a successful business.  

I also recommend installing LED lighting(let me know if you need a few bulb recommendations,) even if you're not paying the electric bill, your residents will appreciate an apartment with a small bill(and of course it will help them pay the rent.)Michael

One page led to another which led to another which led me to the BP website and then I discovered Brandon & Josh's podcasts which then led to the forum and here I am.I have always had a basic goal of owning a beach condo/house and just renting it out when I didn't use it to help pay for it.

I was lucky to find The Bigger Pockets Podcasts which eventually led me to the website.

A power cable ran down from the pole to the ground at an angle, and the overgrown walkway to the door actually led you right under the power cable, brushing by the power pole!
