I went through these beginner’s guides and it was in a format that seemed real, meaning that I didn’t feel they were trying to get me to purchase anything or convince me of some other ulterior motive.

I'm guessing they had some kind of ulterior motive and decided it wasn't worth pursuing.

I don't have any ulterior motives like to sell a book or a program, I legitimately just want to have an event to give back. 

While I myself would love to live near Byron or Tracy, it could be extremely dumb to invest with an ulterior motive like this.

Some CPAs has a healthy concern when advising clients and others either have ulterior motives or a lack of understanding that leads to an overstatement of the risks.

She has ulterior motives for sure. 

Just realize that many attendees have ulterior motives and many mentors aren't really mentors.

I believe it is worth while because investors are faced with these kinds of decisions every day and it its beneficial to deal with them assessing the facts, not with one liners or opinions based on inaccurate information or even worse an ulterior motive.

The BP Blog might be one of the best exceptions to this because it has many contributors and so it seems there's always good information to find without the feeling or idea that there's ulterior motives.Just my .02
