You're not in Utah(Kansas) any more.  

As I know from the area I live in which is majority UGA, UT or UNC fans.  

Paul, MN to Salt Lake City, UT and I spent most of my time and focus on finding a job once I got here. 

I have access to a VA loan, and we both have sterling credit and plenty of money set aside for a down payment.I work near 183 and 45, and my girlfriend goes to school at UT (1 more year) after which she has to work for 2 years as part of her scholarship.

Also, there is a similar 6 group of homes that just went under contract that is in a less desirable area on the opposite side of town, rents for only 1400, not growing as fast that asking was 30K more than what I paid for my group of homes.I see so much potential in this deal.The medical school is going up, there will be alot more health care professionals that would love to live 5 miles from UT/Medical area/Downtown.

(SLC,UT under 200k is extremely hot right now)

Heard today drone production was to offer 20,000 jobs in Utah.

On the flip side, let's say you are in a part of the country which is more family oriented such as Utah (excluding Salt Lake city), it may be harder to rent.  

We are moving to southern Utah to escape the cold, the third house we bought for 75k.
