I have been through several deployment cycles and while I understand the concern of vacancies during these periods, the reality is the effects are minimal.

You have to make assumptions about how long it takes to deploy the cash at the start of the project.

W/D is about 50-50 whether or not it is included.I think it is mostly due to the large military population that move after every deployment, change of duty station or advancement that starts paying more and want convenience.

Looking at the cash flow, principle pay down, appreciation, and potential tax benefits, it may be hard to match as an investment if you sell and deploy your cash elsewhere.

I have cash deploy so the key element is to do it effectively as part of an overall strategy.

@Justin Bioc I decided on the turnkey route, due to our constant moves, deployment possibilities, and overall workload.

So to get a more pointed answer to your question I'd look at what your parameters are and then look for places where you can deploy your current capital base.
