Hello, I was wondering if anyone here invests in the Killeen, Tx area? I live in Dallas and after some initial searching Killeen looks like it might provide some good cash flowing rental properties. Please let me know what your thoughts are if you live near Killeen it invest there. Thanks, Caleb

There are quite a few investors in the Killeen area.  It seems the high priced Austin markets are driving people further and further away. Killeen has a lot of buy and hold opportunities - not as ideal for flips because of high transaction costs, low prices and low equity.  It is also a fairly strong rental market due to the military if you take care of your homes.
