I've tried craigslist, but most of the responses are doctors from the UK who are moving to the US with their daughters and need to have their hospital send me a check.

I have some experience with residential investment properties here in the UK but never held commercial RE. 

We usually sell our foreclosure properties for a profit but thinking you could turn $500 into $80,000 on one deal is not investing it's gambling.
