Hey Forum,

I am from Ireland(country) myself and have some people who would like to invest into multifamily properties but I know that it has to be a Multifamily Fund not a 506C or 506B by the SEC regulations, so foreign people could invest. Any advice how I can find and connect with those people who have these Multifamily Funds so I could bring some international investors?

Thank you!

@Martynas Fedotovas its not completely correct. the regulations you mentions 506C or 506B are not the only ones you can invest in.  More common for foreigners is Reg S and 144A. Google it.

In fact there are few other things to consider when investing in the US as foreigner, one of them is the withholding taxes.  A good operator should be able to explain that all to you.

When i have done some research on the Syndication subject an option of having an actual investment found for foreigner came across as potentially more beneficial.

Im NOT lawyer or advisor, so it is best of you seek some legal and accounting advise first.
