Upon renewal  if the tenant does not exercise the option you typically get the building by default.Leasehold - You do own the building but no the land.

This right is exercised after the Sworn Statement of Inability to Pay has been approved and the appeal perfected by making a written application to the County Court at Law in which the appeal is filed.

Which is most likely why the agent hasn't gotten to it yet (It is really an exercise in futility often especially if there is over 50K to overcome).

Coming here and asking the general question what do I need to know about what investing in notes is really just an exercise in futility.

But I'm not sure what else is required so I can exercise these options.

Being a do-it-yourself site there are lots of options that are mostly shovel and exercise and very low expense if you want to go that way. 

They have a great energy and do a networking exercise prior to the speaker (in addition to the time prior to the start time of the meeting).

If I choose to exercise my option, my deposit is applied.

In many markets they decided not to exercise options, and have built much larger stores in close proximity to the original store.

But consciously saying I am going to take a low rate of return believing that the property I am buying or the city I am buying will go up in value is not a smart investment strategy.I have not seen that per se in this forum, but the conversation has tilted as it usually does on this site to strategies that are more prevalent like SFH investing.No matter what the strategy is, it is always smart for investors with this kind of money to exercise patience, educate themselves on opportunities and invest in the way that they are most comfortable - IMO.
