Evictions in Harris County Texas

I have been using an eviction company in 2016. They seem to be too busy to get my evictions done in a timely manner, and have a hard time knowing what the results were once filed. I want to start doing evictions on my own. I guess I could spend an afternoon in eviction court to see how it is done. Where do I obtain a 3 day eviction notice? Also can I send it via certified mail or have a Sherriff deliver it? Not sure where to start since there doesn't seem to be any books on the subject.

I am assuming you are trying to evict in Harris County? Contact the Constables office for the precinct your property is in. There are 8 Constables agencies in Harris County. Ask for the civil division and speak with one of the clerks. A lot of the Constables offices have informative web sites you can get the information from as well. The clerks are usually very helpful. Let them know what you are trying to do and they can steer you in the right direction.
