I have accumulated some pretty good sub-contractors over the years (painters, plumbers, electricians, dry-wall), but have been struggling with GCs for permit pulling (when needed) or carpenters for small unit turnover projects, large building renovations, or even small isolated exterior fixes.

The painters stop leaving their trash everywhere.

If you have a good handyman, painter, HVAC person, and cleaner, please let me know.  

The contractor has not done any work and the only time anyone was in the property was when I took a painter by to look at the job.

This is a bit of a hustle even when you are local as you have to manage cleaning people, painters, repair people, showings, tenant screening, lease signing, etc.

I used a licensed contractor and a licensed painter with EPA certification. 

My painter just went over and found the whole house saturated and pouring water from a couple places in the baseboard pipes and basically the whole house was underwater for days and we lost alot of supplies and our brand new cabinets are destroyed, along with prob the hot water tank, new boiler, washer and dryer and whatever else I havent found yet. .

In my market, professional painters are running $4 or more, handyman is closer to $2.50.Without knowing the details, I think the price looks pretty fair.

My father is the head of the painter apprenticeship at the IUPAT District Council 51 I’ve painted plenty of times !
