Is a better investment in lighting, laundry, insulation and cameras... or a pretty back splash?

When you take your photo from eye level and point that camera lens down, you are essentially taking a photo that is mostly flooring.

I can't think of anything aside from literally installing cameras everywhere, but if they wanted to they could just rip cameras down so that seems futile. 

He has a camera phone and could send me pictures, but what would I ask for?  

No mailed check or pick ups.Purchase price 300k and owner is giving 20k towards upgrades/repairs etc  Plan is to install surveillance cameras, lights, paint doors and shutters, 2 water heaters and new signage and minor fixes etc.

(preferably a contractor you know, give them a digital camera and a pocket voice recorder and ask them to visit and give you their opinion.Example...

Especially to my brother who is the talent behind the camera and editing.

They learn a little lingo grab  a sledge hammer and a camera crew and there you have it. 

Each unit is alarmed with video cameras everywhere.

Curious, if the contractor shows-up in an old vehicle, but whips out a drone with a camera on it to inspect the roof, what would you think of them then?
