I am reading a bunch of real estate investing books , talking to realtors & loan officers, and trying to educate myself best I can.I'm also looking to expand my network within the real estate investing community, and I believe this is a great opportunity to connect.

Is it as simple as getting the site designed and engineered for the footprint, cleared and graded (all of which I am comfortable with), and then hiring a GC to build the building?

We have a member round table discussion on Fridays at 9 am cst.And we have a calendar of events with events from area landlord groups and member meetups.While we are still on zoom we do try to find ways to still be able to connect and talk with each other so our events are not all just another webinar with people talking at you.Hope to connect.

They would offer more of a co-hosting coaching but dabble in rental arbitrage too.

I am always on the lookout for off market properties around the Sacramento area.

Unfortunately I am told most admitted insurance carriers are out of the business for insuring apt complexes in the state of CA (this was even before the LA wildfires this month.

What I am saying is the tax bill for you could be wildly different depending on how long your partner has owned this property and how much depreciation they have taken.

I am very conservative so I want to be careful in how I frame expectations.
