Okay so my kids are grown up so we're actually thinking about downsizingand taking about $450-$500K equity from the sale to invest in some morerental properties....We have 4 rent houses at the moment.

Well, since I started this thread, I guess I can make a political comment too.It is true that the majority rules, and in the case of the US, unfortunately I think that government has intentionally grown to the point that the end game is to make more and more people dependent on government.

In my opinion it us as grown ups that have a hard time with such changes because we become accustomed to certain things and find it hard to change our habits. 

I am looking forward to meeting like-minded people here since my family and friends have grown tired of hearing me sing the praises of real estate!
