For instance, huskies can have a great temporment, but they are so active that they can really tear stuff (everything -- interior trim, cabinets, landscaping, trees, deck parts) up if they are not well trained.

I recommend keeping your trees trimmed back away from the structure, overhanging limbs etc. and if you have shutters, put them up or pay a tenant or property manager to put them up if they're not automatic or if you have hurricane-rated doors and windows.

But if you try to put on a sheetrock veneer, you do realize the trim and baseboards will have to come off first and be re-installed, otherwise you will have some strange looking areas where those meet the new sheetrock.

Usually there is trim that can be removed, have a piece of glass cut (or two pieces, if it needs to be double-paned), pop it in and put the trim back.
