yup, that's about the crux of it..you have to be late"...SO, this was with WAMU, who then got bought out by JPMorgan Chase, and before you knew it, one department didn't know what the other one was doing...We must have sent in 6 hardship letters...before finally coming to our senses and retaining an atty...Kid you not, at some point, they didn't want to take our payments anymore, because now we were past the N.O.D. point of no return....and NOW we have been fortunate enough, to have had some real action take place, on behalf of a hard working family, and YES, an "investor", who is learning how GREEDY this industry can be.
