Republican Abortions

How deep does the hypocrisy run when the Republican party deliberately chooses to cover elective abortions in their employee health insurance package?

Why is it not okay (from their perspective) for those outside the party to get abortions, but apparently it's supported for those within the party (and their dependents).

And not only is it okay, but they're willing to use donor money to pay for it!
