Had the loan for about 3 years... my financial situation has drastically changed/ improved since then...the mortgage individual we spoke with when we got then loan from BOa said that because we started with PMI that we couldn’t get out of it by just refinancing with home appreciation that we would have to pay it down with our own funds to 80% of the original purchase price/appraisal.
