My question is: Is there much of an opportunity in raw land flipping in this type of rural setting or should I focus on more concentrated counties that have tourist value?

I mostly concentrate on buy and hold but there are plenty of flipping opportunities. 

We have decided to stop buying and concentrate on paying down the debt acquired with real estate.

Is it more concentrated in some areas?

With sequestration, we're dropping S-8 property each time we get the 10%-15% reduction in HAP contract rent letter.As for their premium service, we had as much traffic through craigslist and organic traffic/leads through semi-concentrated SEO placement.

I just moved into the KC area a few months ago, and will be concentrating in the Northland area. 

Concentrate on graduating and get that huge income to work on your debt.

We plan to in the next couple years but for now we can concentrate solely on the business and not have to worry about school districts and things like that at the moment.

I'd concentrate real hard on establishing  a long distance management system for your two rentals and only then would I look to buy a third property.   

I would try to concentrate and learn one type of investing.
