I'm not familiar with the area but based on the description you gave, you could potentially advertise as hunting/fishing area while renting....just a thought.If there's a demand and the costs work out in your favor (or better than a standard 1 yr lease rental) then I'd say you're not crazy at all.

I did spend one entire winter skiing at Big white and learned to fish the Kamloops Plauteu and still go up there 2 to 3 times a year.

Welcome to Oregon many similarities with Mississippi about the same population.. locals LOVE TO HUNT and fish like they do in MS>.. only difference is the demographics of the state..

However in my opinion his coaching/mentor program appears to be hokie.   

I am done with heavy duty remodels.. only ground up construction.. and when that peters out.. then I am going fishing !!!

Get plugged into your local REI organizations and meet the "big fish."

Stop focusing on the little fish.

Or my real question, is it a good thing or a bad thing for a new small fish investor to start his portfolio in a city that I currently building many many massive residential complexes that all look affordable and nice...?
