New Atlanta Real Estate Investor

Hi, everyone!  I was thrilled to find this forum.  I am interested in real estate investing and have been obsessively learning and researching the subject for the past almost 3 years.  My goal is financial independence in the next 5 years.

My day job is an operations strategy consultant for major corporations.  I also own a rental condo in the Landmark Building Downtown and another rental condo in Midtown by the Fox Theater.  With these first two investments, my cash flow and equity growth over the last two years has far exceeded all my expectations.

I have saved up some capital and I am trying to decide what my next move is, but I am thinking of buying several low-end units on the west side, a small apartment building, or maybe a large single-family home.

It's been difficult for me to find people with similar real estate interests to network with, so that is my primary purpose hear.  When I talk about my plans, most people's eyes glaze over like I'm talking about building a moon base...the next frontier in RE.

I am thinking buy, fix, and holds fits my profile.  I am looking for semi-passive income, while keeping my day job.
