Delicate situation - to calm nerves down, show them a text or email to show parts coming etc, that way they know you are giving your 900% to get it fixed asap.

I've been reading for a couple months as well, and I finally got the nerve to post my intro today.

We had to file plans, and what was the kitchen was called a "bar", and the original examiner turned it down calling our plans all BS.

As to Bill Gulley and his advice, he may indeed be conservative, however; his experience and background give him a very solid foundation to offer up advice, having been a bank examiner if I recall, along with owning many investment properties over the years.
