Hello everyone,I'm a native Memphian looking to get into the market here.

It's all about the debt-to-income ratio, which by their calculations, they dismissed everything out of hand since it is just slightly below what the mortgage would be.I think I am set on relocation next Spring, although I am a California native and love Humboldt County very much. 

For NY state people, how does Rochester react to a recession, or how was it in '08?

It's a beautiful waterfront property but was inexpensive due to being on Native American land. 

He knows me now, and knows I am going to buy a place, eventually once I find the right place.Now low-ball/unrealistic might be a subjective term... but he has encouraged me and pushed me to submit low offers to see how the sellers react and want to play ball.

I'd also love to know more about your story investing in Atlanta from California (I'm in the Bay Area, but an Atlanta native).

The nightly rental rates are only this and last year starting to react to spiking demand, so there’s still room for a big jump in appreciation I think.
