It's all about the debt-to-income ratio, which by their calculations, they dismissed everything out of hand since it is just slightly below what the mortgage would be.I think I am set on relocation next Spring, although I am a California native and love Humboldt County very much.

He knows me now, and knows I am going to buy a place, eventually once I find the right place.Now low-ball/unrealistic might be a subjective term... but he has encouraged me and pushed me to submit low offers to see how the sellers react and want to play ball.
