Hey folks!

I've been lurking on the site for a few days, and listening to the podcasts for a month or so.  I LOVE what is happening on this site and I'm excited to get connected with all of you.

I am a new investor, based in Seattle and focusing on short term vacation rental properties.  I currently have a large 6 bedroom here in Seattle that we rent out exclusively on Airbnb, and my business partner and I are looking to buy some cabins in the Cascade Mountains to use as vacation rentals as well.

Since I also own a furniture design/build company here in Seattle, our focus will be designing and furnishing these properties and offering them as high end boutique vacation rentals. Our concept is to curate an amazing experience through well-thought out details and good design.

I am happy to share what I know with anyone looking to get into Airbnb style vacation rentals, and I would also love to chat with anyone who has experience renting vacation properties in the mountains or other highly seasonal areas.  I have some ideas of ways of filling the units in the off seasons, but I would love to hear what others are doing as well.

Of course, I am always looking for interesting properties that would work into my business model, especially on Highway 2 near Index, Baring, and Skykomish.

Looking forward to meeting you!

-Andy
