And for sure absentee's depending on their situation will not be as motivated as some others.. remember depending on the town or city they may be getting many other yellow letters or whatever color people send. persistence and consistency is what works with direct mail..

So you're pitching money out the door hoping for a return, but not sure if it will ever come.But then, if you're persistent and consistent, an amazing thing happens.....that first deal comes and your confidence level goes through the roof.

But I do think it strongly depends on your mailpiece, your list, and your persistence.
