@Brandon Joynersome important aspects of direct mail success: - send multiple times to same addy - change up the mail piece so it appeals to different people (i.e. yellow letter, postcard, image, copy heavy, etc.) - focus on the recipent's needs over your needs - for example, it's better to say "Here are 10 Ways to Stop Forclosure" vs.

I don't think the lack of a stamp will make a difference because I'm sending out postcards until I learn Microsoft Mail Merge (at which time I will change to letters with real stamps).

@Jacklyn Cheatham here is a few tips that I use so I don't sound like I'm using a script:- I try to sound natural so when I get a phone call "I'm calling because I got your postcard in the mail and wanted to find out what this is about,..." - I let them know that "I'm a real estate investor and I'm looking to buy several houses in your area, is yours available?"

Also check out the postal service they have inexpensive options for Direct mail to every door in an area you chose for 18 cents a postcard if your looking for very low rates.
