Did you mail postcards or letters on that round?

I'm getting ready to do a mail campaign and wondering what is everybody experience with yellow letters and postcards I've done yellow letters and it was decent.

They have yellow postcards.  

I don't think the lack of a stamp will make a difference because I'm sending out postcards until I learn Microsoft Mail Merge (at which time I will change to letters with real stamps).

Good morning BP, I am buying a list of 2000 names for absentee homeowners in my targeted area.Should i mail out my postcard all at once or do 500 per week?

@Jacklyn Cheatham here is a few tips that I use so I don't sound like I'm using a script:- I try to sound natural so when I get a phone call "I'm calling because I got your postcard in the mail and wanted to find out what this is about,..." - I let them know that "I'm a real estate investor and I'm looking to buy several houses in your area, is yours available?"

Also check out the postal service they have inexpensive options for Direct mail to every door in an area you chose for 18 cents a postcard if your looking for very low rates.
