What are YOUR Direct Mail Preferences?
Hey BP'ers! I'd love to hear creative answers and experience from you guys on the subject of direct mail! Feel free to share your preferences below.
I have purchased a prospect mail list from ListSource.com with these criteria:
- My city
- 70% to 100% equity
- 2 to 24 units
- purchased before 2010
Now, I'm browsing mail services to find one to use for my marketing efforts..
HERE'S WHERE I NEED YOUR INPUT!
- 1. What mailing site have you had success using?
- 2. What is your preferred postage type? (postcard, typed letter, yellow letter, other)
- 3. Give me the main points of the message you use. (If you want, you can share your whole letter with me! I won't copy... I'll just use your ideas in my own way.) :)
- 4. What systems do you use to process responses? (phone, website, email, other)

Austin, we use a local mailing company because we like it to be stamped from the local post office that it came "our city"
We have used others, and whichever one you use, works.
We like yellow letters for marketing. But we typically switch it up, using yellow letters, typed the next time, then postcards.
We use google voice to get a local number, then we actually answer the calls and put them into a crm to organize. We use highrisehq.com. But zoho, podio also work
Thanks. Brett.
