Perhaps many of the folks who mentioned they are fleeing CA weren't CA natives to begin with, and feel like they want to move to greener pastures.

PB has been found to have its structural integrity reduced compared to other materials because of the way many chemicals in public water supplies react to it, breaking it down and causing small cracks over a long period of time.

i;d be furious and probably would never talk to that person again. but then again, i often times tend to over react when someone does stupid stuff like that.1. i'd mention to her the opportunity to make extra money if you offer the incentive2. mention that she will get the listing when you are done (as suggested)3. work with the listing agents. i always do and have been super successful. but even that's not 100%

After taking the time to research this, should take less than a hour of online research, politely inform the contractor of your discoveries and see how he reacts.

If we get into that market cycle how are the sponsors going to react who generally do not bring any (or very little ) money from their pocket
