I started posting my blog on BP but it was a duplicate of my own blog before I realized that would impact me negatively on google rankings (duplicate content).

With the website, I can't share too much because Austin is so highly competitive, but you have to get your website to rank on the search engines and then your site has to convert to leads.  

It will take time and a lot of money to get your site ranking high enough for buyers and sellers to just find your site.
