Hi BiggerPockets Nation,I am a Realtor operating in the Greater Philadelphia area currently working for Keller Williams.

I know that there are less expensive alternatives but at the time the location, schedule and time-frame worked out conveniently for me and it was also run by a Keller Williams brokerage that I wanted to join.Personally, my instructor was a bit newer I think and didn't have all the information down pat.

Was the agent with 1200 properties Kieth French or John Keller?

Another suggestion is look at the major brokerages for quality agents like Remax or Keller Williams.Happy investing!!

@Keith Ellis If someone were starting from scratch, I'd have them read the following four classics in order:1) Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert KiyosakiThis book shifts your mindset2) The Millionaire Real Estate Investor - Gary KellerSimilar to Kiyosaki's RDPD, Keller touches on mindset.

I'm a big fan of Gary Keller's books / models / systems (although I'm not a KW agent).

If you're still strategizing for real estate, I HIGHLY recommend two books: David Greene's BRRRR book, and The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller.

I'm at keller williams which is great for training and has tons of top producing agents you can network with, however if you are only looking to make money off of referrals then I would imagine an online Brokerage like EXP or Compass would be a better fit for you as split will be the most important.
