Hi BiggerPockets Nation,

I am a Realtor operating in the Greater Philadelphia area currently working for Keller Williams. My goals are to wisely invest in real estate and to help others do the same.

I try to stress to my friends, family and clients the importance of viewing one's self and family as a business. Just as a business we all have costs: fixed costs, variable costs and debt/liabilities such as mortgage payment, car payment & insurance, phone bill, gas etc. And just as a business these expenses are paid by cash in flows: our paycheck. If we can either decrease some of our costs and/or increase our cash in flows we improve our financial position. Proper real estate investing can not just increase our cash in flows but also effectively save money through tax deductions.

There a number of different ways to invest in real estate all with variant levels of risk and reward. Investing does not necessarily take a lot of money, the key is to find which type of investing works best for you.
