Having said that, how difficult would it be to get a quart color matched by computer and properly touch up what many courts would consider "normal" wear and tear, and not chargeable.

There was some work done on the house, but there were lots of small details and finishes that needed fixing, so we handled that (e.g. adding nice affordable trim to mirrors, privacy on windows, touch up painting, caulking everywhere, etc. and Corby got his trusted contractors to deal with most other things.

Porcelain tile kitchen floors and splashes, dark granite counters, medium tone "shaker" wood cabs. natural wood is easier to touch up with Old English when damaged.

I might give the extinguisher (it's safety related and cheap), and offer to have the "annual" cleaning done - maybe do some touch-ups or cheap cosmetic items at the time.

The easiest DIY solution (that I think would look decent) would be to get some (gel) wood stain in the closest color you can find to touch up the scratches then remove the handles and do two coats of (satin finish) polyshades in a color slightly darker than the doors are now (probably bombay mahogany).

On a typical move-out/move-in job I had my "standard" tool box plus a materials box containing;the standard paint color I used for rentals-Navajo White, a bunch of paint stirring sticks (for sheetrock repair more than stirring paint), a couple of pieces of sheetrock 2' X 2', Elmer's glue, sheetrock screws, switch plates, a couple of outlets and switches, scrubbing stuff and chemicals, DOORSTOPS, light bulbs, mineral spirits and linseed oil and 000 steel wool for touching up stained wood, paper towels, TOILET PAPER, rags, paint brushes, SMALL LADDER, joint compound.Once you've gone through every room doing the "touch ups" you'll have a good idea if you need to come back with your 8' and extension ladders, paint rollers and 5 gallon can of paint and drop clothes.
