Somebody just gave me Emyth as a gift so that's on deck. 

I'm about to close on my 4 family unit in Kingston, NY.I want to take one of the units for myself and rehab it a bit, finish the attic and add a deck in the yard.Looking for an affordable, reliable contractor to give me an estimate of the costs. 

Especially when I have to stain multiple decks.

Don't get too obsessed with the marginal value of a second fireplace or a deck in the back.  

We are also going to shrink the deck a little to increase the size of the usable carport for parking.Interior is going to be completely renovated.

My everyday tasks could include anything from building a deck to typing contracts for future jobs.

I got my survey back yesterday and the neighbors deck is .4 feet or about 5 inches over the line on my side.

The neighbors get foreclosed on more than typical neighborhoods and that keeps values lower for longer.2) HOA association decides to levy a $20K assessment on all owners in the neighborhood in order to upgrade everyone's windows, decks, roofs, and siding.3) HOA increases monthly dues by $250 per month in lieu of a large special assessment. 

Rehab would be an exterior deck, exterior railing some sort of ceiling work.

The parking lot gets plowed by a hired truck( we live out of state) and each unit is responsible for their own sidewalk/deck.
