Stick to those few areas and you'll be okay...otherwise be prepared for the worst...and possibly make a killing (slight pun intended) in the process. 

Jamarr, now thats a loaded question, no pun intended. yes there is money to be made in war zones as I have been doing it in S Chicago for quite a few years. one thing is for sure you cannot do it on your own.

So, I've learned a 'lot' (pun intended) about L.A. zoning, easement politics, and sub2 contracts in just one deal!  

Most don't even know it's an option (pardon the pun).

@John Thedford While we generally disagree w/ the concept of wholesaling as a whole (no pun intended), I do agree that the shifty nature of some of the deals discussed is an issue for me.I don't have an issue w/ wholesaling and I don't think most people would - if you were up front about it. 

But you definitely have to do your homework.If the park communities are not in the path of progress but instead in a blighted or run down area where there's not much sign of future upward mobility (pun intended) then you need to be very careful if not simply stay away from them.

Start with Google or wherever else you get your news, but skip past the flashy articles on house flipping—you can usually do this by weeding out clever titles full of puns, amusing as they may be.
