Investors have a personalized online portal where they can log in and see all of their investments, capital contributions, distributions, quarterly reports, K-1s, emails, etc.  

I may just use a funding portal like NC localstake (https://nc.localstake.com/) since they already have an Indiana based bank that performs the escrow function and the NC rules do not require a NC-based bank.

I do, however, set up searches for my clients where they have Portal access and can set up searches that auto-email new listings in targeted areas. 

I have also been looking through the MLS portal I have been set up on and have asked my Realtor to look into a few properties.

First, check the real estate tax records  (tax portal or treasurer site). 

Go to the NMLS consumer portal and look his name up and see what you find.

Wild Apricot: fantastic member directory, templated emails, finance tracking, and website, but appears both the online payments portal and mobile apps require the $40/mo+ subscription.

As such we opt for online rental portals and a call center.Just goes to show you that there are a million ways to make money in real estate and the greatest success is acheived by designing a strategy that best acheived your own personal goals.
