I do know that EVERY market has  a few successful people and you have to look for them and approach them with the 'What can I do for you ' attitude. 

The average home buyer cares about what they can see and show off ( kitchens,baths,flooring etc) not whats in the attic and behind the drywall.Hopefully these attitudes will slowly change over time!

.- Attitude to risk is a personal thing, and each individual has their own point of comfort.

Dont have such a pessimistic with this 1% attitude.

I am intrigued as to what the American attitude is to metal roofs in city locations.

I just think it takes a special type of person with a risk-on attitude, and the ability to add a diverse inventory, quickly.

I believe it is a pervasive attitude created by the get rich quick crowd and "real estate is easy gurus" that dominate the space.

That being said, I love Cantu's attitude and approach, and respect his experience.
