I’ve been reading and studying real estate books and pod casts for about 1 year and a half now.

I'll be honest, this is my 10th post and I'm only doing this one so I can post in the "Make Deals, Find Partners, Mentors & BirdDogs, etc." forum.I hope that the mods here don't think that I'm post-whoring or anything like that.

Greetings everyone, I humbly respect and appreciate each and everyone one of the replies above,I recently bought a House in detroit for 5000 Cash with a cousin, its in its 4 month of rehab, investing with family is horrible lesson learned.Ok, when i mean taking action, im really seeking a source of RE investment where i dont need to leave my job, and i dont need to physically be there, seems like notes would be a great option,Im guessing the best option for education is Pod-cast, yes you guys are spot on, ive found the bigger-pockets pod-cast, No Limit Pod-cast, but as i listen to all of these, I get pumped and ready to take some action.I haven't im not sure what niche i want to go with, but im thinking i need to at least 2 one to support the other

Listen to the pod casts, read info from the learn section, attend some real estate groups from your local area; participate in some of the forums and you will find your way.

He said a loan mod attorney is meeting with him on Monday & would like to work wit me but would need to clear it with an attorney.   

If you listen the weekly pod casts you will get a steady stream of recommended reading along with an hour or so of great content.We used to live in Portland, but moved to Bend (Central Oregon) a few years ago. 

I have been reading and learning so much in the past couple months from websites and pod-casts about investing, but I want to hear from actual people for a change!
