Have any of you non-realtors get paid to scout-out properties, walk them, and take pix for out-of-town investors?

Or perhaps the Chamber of Commerce or local scout group.I think that's a nice welcome gift, especially of the new tenant isn't from the area.

I'm currently scouting for one or two properties in the Denver area (looking in Arvada, Westminster, Northglenn, Broomfield, and Thornton).I'm not a full-time real estate guy, and I'm building my portfolio slowly.

I am currently doing some property scouting and working on a part-time wholesaling business.

Fly out and scout the area yourself.

I am planning a scouting trip in the next month and would like to meet some of the local investors and try to get a handle on the market there.Thanks,John

I rode the Tammany trace with my son and the boy scouts a little over a month ago and we started in Covington! 

Do you find it to be a headache having property out of your immediate area in case of problems or going back and forth for renovations, scouting houses, etc ?

My partner said we no longer scout houses on our own - always together.

I'm scouting duplexes already within a 100 mile radius.
