Our hosts brought us breakfast in the morning that consisted of enough meats, cheeses, jams, Brötchen, eggs, and coffee that I wonder how they managed to make any money. 

This book just says that you don't have to pay SE taxes unless you provide "substantial services" like a hotel or bed and breakfast (maid service during stay, food, or concierge).

You just want to be that first person on their minds when they do decide to sell.I even try to set up a time to meet with them; take them out to lunch or breakfast.
