This is an older article, but for anybody investing in Wilmington, NC this is good news from a job growth perspective.  If you don't feel like reading the article, Amazon is opening a distribution center in Pender Commerce Park in 2023.  Definitely not a bad thing to have Amazon moving in to town.

Hello, I am a passive investor in syndicates and have lived in Wilmington about two years. I am leaving my W2 to be an active GP...am interested in making some local connections. Are there any commercial real-estate meet up groups or networking events that anyone is aware of?
