It could be a city department wanting to build a new library for example and they want to avoid the demo cost so they will offer the house free or at a very deep discount like maybe $2K to whoever show to have the wherewithall to move it and has a legal lot to move it onto.

hi all, what would you do if you were me, looking to fund raise then refi a 3rd pc of real estate with a brrrr.conditions to my 2 properties- untapped $350K in equity on a 15yr conventional from my 1st property- access to $38K from a 1st Lien HELOC with ~$50K equity on my 2nd propertyi live in my 2nd property right now, would consider either selling or renting it out after/before i acquire my 3rd pc.

I went to my local library and there were a lot of books on how to estimate construction cost (the librarian helped me find a few that were good for beginners), I will use those for the analysis.I assume my estimate can't be perfect, and if I was to make an offer on such a property, I would locate a contractor local to that market to help me with real rehab cost.
