@Jay Hinrichs it sounds like the person who entered your home unannounced and then screamed and ran in the presence of a dog whose job it is to protect the family, deserved the bite, and that the dog reacted in precisely the way you'd intended.  

I simply ask them to consider two very simple things:1) Judge a business by how it reacts to pressure.

My boyfriend wanted to set this one up as an individual room rental (very common in his native UK) and he wanted to see how the business model would work here.
