There are two vibrant REIA groups that meet regularly.

Prices on these properties have been surging for years, deconversions in pretty much every once was "hipster"/now insanely popular area in Chicago, the hyper gentrification of every classic, ethnically vibrant, affordable neighborhood is old news.

“It’s a lower cost of living, high quality of life and a great tech ecosystem there.”So, should you rather invest in a unique market that attracts a single type of resident from a single industry who is quick to leave the area?

The vulnerable low income tenants can only see forever increasing rent with this out of balance ecosystem.

So that's what I've been doing for the past two weeks - researching American modular home companies, looking at plans and trying to understand how that whole ecosystem comprised of planning/zoning people, builders and architects works.

That's how I came to RE and BP...the latest episode with Bob Malecki got me very intrigued with notes.Now that I've read a whole lot about performing, NPNs, all the ways that it's finance and not RE, the myriad things you need to know about each level of the note ecosystem and the laws that apply to each place, etc...I'm not scared off!
