Close to shopping, restaurant, public transportation, schools, church, town athletic fields, and the sportsman's club.

"Where did all the houses go" could be answered by, "they're not for sale, but they're for rent" which pushes the price up when a house becomes an income-producing asset for the owner.I can't imagine having to wait 20 years to buy the first house.The way apartment communities are getting fancier (pools, athletic facilities, walking to retail, BBQ's,...) 

Like where I live, tons of people work in New York City but live in NJ, they pay NY tax and professional athletes pay tax in every state they play away games in because it's earned income.  

You would think the two industries would mesh occasionally, given that world class athletes programs WCAP, often involve large-scale construction projects like stadiums, and pre-olympic renovations that should be REI related.
