Im thinking about taking it out and turning my standup shower into a larger stand up shower (i.e. a place to sit) and extending the closet to get more space.

My goal is to redo the bath with a vanity, toilet, standing shower, and add a walk in closet to this space.

@Jonathan Tremblay They are technically 2-1, but there is also an office that my tenants have used as a bedroom (the office doesn't have a closet and doesn't have room to add one).  

Hallways were clean, trash barrels neat, no litter, and only a couple of cosmetic violations inside (small hole in thebackof a closet, a torn window blind, a small patch of damaged plaster).But here's the clincher: Because his tenants received section 8 subsidies, every unit was inspected annually by BHA inspectors, because annual inspections are mandatory for all Section 8 subsidies.

Typically we get rid of the closet off the 1/2 bath  - a complete no brainer.

Would greatly depend if it’s a cash purchase or if you have your own purchasing closing closets on a loan.

I have installed one or more water closets not exceeding 1.6 gallons per flush.

The home has a lot of little quirky things that are strange and unlike anything I've ever seen. 2 closets in one room, a bedroom next to the kitchen, etc.

I would hate to have these skeletons come out of the closet at the 11th hour.My realtor suggested that I call the county and discuss with them, without giving my home address so that I can get some answers.
