For reference, I have no trouble renting houses, I typically find somebody within a week of putting a sign in the yard.Now, if you're going for high end rentals, I could see replacing them just as you would put in fancy counters and cabinets.

Hi dear Chris, I am buying a 3 acre land that has a mobile home on it, nothing like the fancy pre-fabs shown above. built in 2012. since it is relatively new , it is more worth the money for me to renovate a prefab. prefab's are more affordable for someone that is starting out, as long as it looks right , renting it out on Airbnb should be just as compatible as any other good looking 3 acre homes in 29 Palms.

(despite the cold :) ) January is both the coldest and 2nd snowiest month of the year here, so while you might have to suffer through a blizzard and you better dress warm, it will be a very cheap time of the year to visit as no one else will be!
