@Nick M.We have been through that situation several times.It depends on your objectives with the property, but my first thought for you is - “are you sure you want them to leave?”

If your objection is time, expense and compliance issues, it's not clear to me this alternative is less expensive or time consuming, and likely is even dicier on compliance.

It also deprives landlords of the ability to benefit from changed market conditions (gentrification).Personally, my objection to rent control is the fact that it requires subsidizing tenants by private entities.

My objective is to get enough passive income to eventually focus on investing and building myself as a business as my job/career instead of working for other people or companies.
